Okay, so you have a resolution for 2014. Not to be a downer, but most resolutions are sadly forgotten by mid-February. But, yours can be different. You can make your resolution happen. Here are some tips to help keep you focused with your eye on the prize in 2014.

1. Get clear about something you want and write it down. Put it places where you’ll see it often, like next to your computer screen, on the bathroom mirror, next to your bed, and on the fridge.

2. Share your intention with someone in a way that will supportively hold you accountable to taking action.

3. Do something today to demonstrate your commitment to your intention.

4. Acknowledge what you did, and take the next step. Try to do one big thing towards your goal every day.

By setting an goal and taking decisive steps to achieving it, you make it clear to yourself and others, just what you plan to do. Before you know it, you’ll be making your dreams for 2014 come true.
